It's found a place to hide!

Making the robot 'slightly' more aesthetically pleasing!

Although I think the robot making crew have been taking lessons from Sid Phillips of 'Toy Story' fame....

lots of wires...

fixing on the additional, crucial element...

and done...

but then ---- disaster ---- literally 3 minutes later.....decapitated!

Still in development

Although we've submitted part of our code, we are still developing the mechanisms to control the robot - at some point we also need to sort out how we are going to control it for the various tasks it will need to do at Cambridge...


For the time being, students seem to be having fun testing it - trying to work out its limits!

Well, we have put a call out to friends an family for old robotic toys.  Luckily we seem to have a number of people with broken or no-longer-needed bits and bobs that we can take apart and reassemble into something that resembles a working (hopefully) robot.
